As of January 2018 Prof. dr. Hans van Ginkel retired from his function as chair of our board. He has automatically been continued as chair since 2009, when he was asked to take up the role of chairman of the KABS Foundation. He has been doing this with great pleasure and was happy to reorganise the Foundation for Mr. Kofi Annan whom he knew well because of his years in the UN as the undersecretary generel of the UN and rector of University of United Nations. The new chair. Prof. dr. Rob van der Vaart thanked him for all the good work he has done in all these years.
